Transformation Challenge 2024 - April Day 8

Day 8 was a great day. I got to drive the Mustang. My drive into work flowed really well. My Drive home wasn't a grind thanks to me leaving early. My walk was great as I was able to turn my brain off. It was just a great day overall.

I woke up a little early today but not early enough to make it to the gym before I drove to work. My legs were ok but definitely stiff from the work out on Sunday. I looked at the weather app and it was saying it was going to be in the 70’s. Since my legs weren't jello, I took the Mustang to work.

At work I got up a couple times every hour to keep my legs from getting too stiff. Last week I didn't move around much and my legs were toast the next day. During lunch I walked around Costco and I stared at the Ninja Creami for a while again. I am hoping to get one for my birthday but If I don't then i'm going to break down and get one. Halotops are just too expensive to keep buying them as much as I want them. Plus I would be able to make protein ice cream and make more recipes for my book.

Today was the Eclipse, so I asked my boss if I could leave a little early to beat traffic. The Eclipse happened around 3:15 so I was able to get on the road and traffic wasn't too crazy. I think I actually got home in less than 55 minutes which is crazy fast considering i'm used to 1.5 hours now.

When I got home I changed and went to the gym. Today was an active recovery day. So I made sure not to go too fast and to just get my steps in. I walked a little too far but I was really entertained by some videos so I didn't mind. After the Gym I went to Walmart to get some powder to help with chafing on my thighs. All this walking is starting to cause issues. I also got some more riced cauliflower.

Today I wanted to reduce my overall food consumption as I feel a little bloated and I have been eating around a 1K deficit but i've been burning 4-5K calories everyday for 4 or 5 days. So that is a lot of food to eat. I want to clear out and get this bloating down. I think a day or 2 of eating around 2200 calories should help and honestly so long as I don't feel like death I am going to try and keep my calories this low as it will just be a bigger deficit.
