Transformation Challenge 2024 - April Day 5
Day 5 was a great day. I got in 2 walks along with a push day at the gym. I got to eat a bunch because I burn so many calories. I got some good work done at work. I found a new recipe to try this weekend for a no flour brownie, and I have it under good authority that it's delicious.
I woke up before my alarm clock. So that meant I had time to go to Planet Fitness and get an extra walk in today. I wasn't expecting that as I was very tired at the end of yesterday. But waking up early on a Friday means one thing, more calories. Since I typically burn 5000+ calories on days I do 2 walks and a weight training session I get to up my calories to 3000+.
After the gym I made my typical breakfast. While I was waiting for my eggs and toast to cook I did 20 of my daily push ups. Then it was time for work. While working I made sure to get up every hour and stand for a bit. I also got the rest of the push ups done for the day. For lunch I still took it easy on the calories as I didn't want to go too crazy just in case I wasn't feeling it at the gym and didn't push myself. So I had some chicken chunks, an apple, carrots, and some fairlife chocolate milk.
After work I went to the gym and did a quick 5 min walk to get some heat in my system. Then it was push day. I did 5 exercises all at 10 rep 3 sets. That took about 40 minutes and then it was time for the 2nd walk of the day. I got on the treadmill and I really didn't want to be on it. I couldn't zone out and my brian just kept going. It took about 20 minutes for me to get in the zone, but that only lasted for about 20 minutes. I did finish the hour but it wasn't at my normal pace. So that was a bummer.
After the gym I went home and took a shower and made dinner. I went pretty big for dinner with a 8oz bison, 4.5oz turkey, 4 servings rice and 2 servings carrots and peas bowl. I also had 2 cups of Fairlife chocolate milk, 2 chocolate bars, a protein infused water, and a Halotop for dessert. In all it was about a 2K calories dinner. I will say I am stuffed, and i'm still around 1600 calories deficit for the day. So i'm very happy.
