Transformation Challenge 2024 - April Day 4

Day 4 was a good day. My legs are not trashed but I have a feeling tomorrow will be another story. It was a work from home day so I didn't have to spend 2+ hours in the car. I finally got my hair cut. I got in my push ups early and I did my active recovery walk and had a relaxing evening.

I woke up feeling great this morning. No pain and lots of energy. I thought about doing a morning walk but I didn't get up before my alarm clock like I normally do. So it's probably a good thing so I didnt over do my cardio today and not allow my legs to rest properly. I did 10 push ups and got cleaned up for the day.

Around 9 I made breakfast. It was my typical egg white sandwich with PB Fit. At Lunch time I went up to Great Clips and got my haircut. I needed to do that for the last couple weeks but just didn't. I then did a little walk around Walmart and grabbed some of CBum's hydration packs because they were half off. When I got back every hour I got up and did 10 push ups at a time to get them knocked out early.

After work I was off to the gym to get my active rest activity. My hour-long walk was actually a little longer than an hour. I was on the treadmill for around 75 minutes. I wanted to hit 3 miles and since this was active recovery I went slower than I normally do. It's important to not overwork yourself on recovery days so you actually get the benefit of the recovery.

Today was overall great, if not a bit boring.
