Transformation Challenge 2024 - April Day 3

Day 3 was a little tougher than day 2. I woke up and my legs were finally not total jello, which was good as today was leg day. I didn't get to have lunch at a normal time due to a lunch time meeting. The Gym was rough but I pushed through. I got my push ups for the day done kinda late, and I got another recipe added to my website.

I woke up feeling pretty good today. My legs were finally under me and I didn’t have the feeling of dread of having to use my stairs. As I waited for the water to warm up to get cleaned up I took that time to do 20 of the 50 push ups for the day. I have to say getting them started earlier in the day is way better than waiting for the end of the day. After my shower I made my breakfast and lunch and left for work.

Today at work during lunch we had a launch meeting for a project. It was more like a re launch but no one wants to hear about work. I was not the happiest as we have been having more of these lunch time meetings and people are not happy. I have a pretty set time for when I eat and I like to keep the timing of my feedings similar every day. So having to wait an hour wasn't a big deal but it definitely wasn't my favorite day.

The Drive to and from work is already getting worse. Living around 50 miles away is getting very old for these drives during the spring/summer/fall. There is a lot of construction and is already taking over an hour and a half each way. It still makes sense for me to make the drive versus moving closer due to how low my rent is and what it would be closer to work. Even moving 30 minutes closer would cost me around $500 more per month for less space. Its just not worth it to me.

When I got home from work I got changed and had a quick snack of a protein poptart. Nice little hit of protein and carbs before my 1.5 hour gym session. Today I did my hour walk again but this time I did 3.2 mph the entire time. This was not the smartest move as it was leg day. So an hour after I got to the gym my legs were already very warm and definitely not fresh anymore. But I am not going for strength at the moment. I am mostly looking to maintain what I have. Pre Exhausting myself just means I get to lift a lighter weight so I get to work on my form and still get good stretch and strain on my muscles. I might be doing this wrong but we will see the results in a few weeks and see if it makes sense to keep doing or change up the routine. 

After the Gym it was back home to make dinner. Tonight I had a Turkey Burger, half a cauliflower pizza, and a dark chocolate bar. I worked on the recipe book and got the second recipe on the site. I also reworded some things on both recipes so they flow better.

After writing this I need to finish my last 10 or 20 pushups.
