Transformation Challenge 2024 Day 9

Day 9 has been a long one. Went to bed late thanks to one of the more boring Super Bowls I have witnessed. I woke up around 5:45 like normal on a day I go into work and it was difficult to wake up. I usually don't have an issue since I have acclimated to waking up early.

I packed my Breakfast and lunch like normal. This time for my egg sandwich I made my scrambled egg/egg whites the night before but this time I waited to make the toast in the morning so the bread would be soggy from the heat of the egg. It works pretty well.

For Lunch I forgot I had a business lunch scheduled so my meal plan kinda went out the window. Luckily we went to a place where I could get grilled chicken caesar salad (- the dressing). I did the calculations and they gave me just over 2 oz of chicken and about 3 cups of lettuce, 4 pieces of naan bread and a lot of croutons. I didn't eat the bread and croutons. So my lunch was only about 120 calories

Needless to say a couple hours later I couldn't take it any more and ate my lunch I brought with me. Luckily it was only an extra ~120 calories so my day wasn't ruined. I just don't get a treat for dinner. I did get to try the new chicken/cheese wrap from Costco. It was good enough. I think if I put them in the air fryer they will be awesome. In the microwave it was pretty soggy and not the greatest texture.

After work I went to the gym and did my 20+ min of cardio and also hit my chest and back. It was weather busy at the gym so the dumbbells and smith machines had lines. So I went to the pec fly and rear fly, chest press, row, and lat pull downs. After that I did a couple more minutes on the seated bike to get my heart rate back down. OVerall it was a great workout and I burned 500+ calories in the roughly hour I was there.

After the gym I stopped at Walmart to get a couple things. I got some more riced Cauliflower medley, keto buns, sugar free outshine popsicles, bananas, and I found a Cauliflower Cheese Pizza. I haven't had Pizza in almost a year. A cool thing about it is that half the pizza is only 400 calories. I will say I was about as good as I thought it would be. If you went to school in the late 90’s early 2000’s you will understand my reference. It is like the square pizza you got for hot lunches. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. Tasty enough especially since I can't have normal pizza anymore.

Over all it was a long but good day I think I have come up with a motto I can't get behind. Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.  Can’t Stop because I have to keep moving forward with everything health wise for my Crohn’s, and Won’t Stop because I want to better myself.
