Transformation Challenge 2024 - April Day 1
Well it's time for another challenge. I had about 2 weeks respite from the last challenge. This time it is being put on by Brian Shaw’s Wife Keri. This is not associated with any of their companies, this is just for fun. Keri and her friends wanted to do another challenge and she is “hosting” this one herself. Every week for April we will have daily and weekly challenges. There is no prize other than getting more fit and healthier.
I'm starting this before I do the write up after the last challenge. I honestly forgot to do it. So my results will wait until the end of this one. I will say I lost just over 2% body fat. Not the greatest for 6 weeks, but I was dealing with a lot of physical issues and being on Prednisone made keeping to the diet that much harder. I was planning on doing a 6 week cycle of 6 weeks diet hard then one week of eating at maintenance.
Also during my 6 weeks I am still on the Presnione so If I eat more than I should I am taking note and making sure to keep myself in an at least 1K calorie deficit. My goal for this challenge is to lose roughly 7-8 lbs. But If I keep going to my 6 week mark then I should be around 11-12 lbs. I do think this is possible. But I have to keep in mind that I am lifting now. So I will be gaining muscle. So my main indicator will be my overall measurements. I took those this morning and I actually lost a little more around my belly in the last 2 weeks.
Daily challenges are as follows:
write down 3 things you're grateful for
Drink 80 oz of plain water
20 minutes of intentional movement
Follow a nutrition plan
No alcohol
Sleep at least 7 hours
Don't weigh yourself
Personal Goal (Mine is write at least 10 minutes everyday)
Weekly Goals are as follows:
50-75 Push up everyday
Read at least 10 minutes everyday
